I worked with Houghton and Craig Richards since it’s inaugural year. We launching it’s debut year to a sellout success, with the following year’s event selling out in less than 8 hours. Sadly 2019’s event had to be cancelled due to severe weather warnings. Here we changed gear to manage the Crisis Communications around the sudden cancellation, which earned us praise and acclaim throughout the industry for our approach.

Curated by renowned artist, DJ and musician Craig Richards, Houghton Festival has set a new benchmark for music festivals. Houghton’s simple and refined approach of bespoke sound systems, extended DJ sets, eclectic live programming fused with art and holistic wellness, has struck a chord with those who’ve experienced its ethereal and enigmatic qualities.
Centred around a beautiful lake, set amongst thick deciduous woodland its home to a number of unique venues including an abandoned warehouse, the Quarry, a subterranean bowl, the effortlessly beautiful lakeside Pavilion Stage and a world renowned art and sculpture park. Situated in the cherry orchard a wellness area features yoga, movement workshops, sound healing, gong baths, massage and treatment yurts.
